Welcome to The Pirate Paper: CU Boulder's newest, freshest independent news source covering live music, local bands, Colorado nightlife, and whatever else happens to catch our eye here in the editorial office.
In the coming days, weeks, months, and (hopefully) years, we'll be posting articles about the best talent, hottest shows, and greatest nightlife that Colorado has to offer.
Be expecting the first copies of The Pirate Paper to commandeer a news stand, bathroom stall, or classroom near you within the next week. We would apply for an approved distribution center like The Colorado Daily, or The Rooster, but most of us at The Pirate Paper have been ignoring the law since birth and see very little reason to start obeying it now.
Our first issue will have a review of selected bands who performed in this year's CU Battle of the Bands, but if you miss the issue, don't worry! All of the articles that appear in print will appear on the blog in expanded form for your reading pleasure.
